I think maybe just because it's summer, I've been listening to a lot of folksy, americana, sorta country stuff. I know a lot of people who say they like "all music except country" and I think they're admitting to seeing all of the south as a monolith and that they've barely even dipped their toes into country music. I'm glad I'm not one of those people anymore. Does that mean I'm listening to top 40 country? No. But I am, nevertheless, listening to country.
